Yamide Dagnet is responsible for leading the vision and strategy for NRDC's International program and maximizing its impact. Prior to joining NRDC, Dagnet worked in philanthropy, where she raised significant support for climate adaptation projects and efforts to tackle unavoidable losses and damages due to climate change. She focused on bridging and protecting diverse voices for just, equitable energy and industrial transitions, while promoting scaled-up and more accessible sustainable development and climate finance. She also fostered reflection and support on just green energy and industrial transitions. Dagnet also previously served as the director of climate negotiations at the World Resources Institute in Washington, D.C., where she focused on the equitable implementation of the Paris Agreement and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. Dagnet earned a master in engineering degree from the University of Technology of Compiegne (France). She is based in Washington, D.C.
