Silvia Weko is a postdoctoral researcher at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg. Her research focuses on the politics of sustainability transitions, and the different actors that aim to shape how economic value is created and distributed. From 2019-2023 she worked as a research associate with the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) on topics including the geopolitics of green hydrogen, technology transfer and innovation, data and intellectual property in transitions, and EU sustainability policy. She received her PhD from the University of Erfurt in 2023.
