David Elrie Rodgers has been Senior Climate Specialist at the GEF on a portfolio emphasizing energy efficiency, renewable energy, innovation, and blended finance for eight years. Prior to the GEF, David served with the United States Department of Energy for 23 years, rising to the position of Deputy Assistant Secretary. David received degrees in chemical engineering and computer science from Washington University, and a masters in public management from the University of Maryland.
