Dr Ali Abdelshafy is Head of the research group “Climate-neutral industries” at the chair of Operations Management – RWTH Aachen University and a visiting fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies. He has worked on several energy transition and decarbonization projects in the industrial sector and academia. His main research areas are energy transition, infrastructure systems, transformation of energy-intensive industries, and sustainable supply chains.
