Ms Sara Castro de Hallgren’s career spans 15 years in the United Nations System leading global policy advisory, programs, strategic partnerships and training on sustainable development. Sara is currently a Sustainable Development Officer at the UN Office for Sustainable Development under the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs. She has led global research initiatives on circular economy, behavioral science for green growth, and areas related to consumption and production patterns. Sara has a Masters degree in Sustainability from Harvard University, and graduate and undergraduate degrees in economic development from Erasmus University Rotterdam and George Washington University.
