Lucie Qian Xia is a Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her work intersects diplomacy, development and global governance. She received her doctorate from the University of Oxford and has previously served the UN Representation Office to the EU, contributing to UN-EU climate cooperation; and the EU Delegation to China, fostering EU-China climate and trade relations. She has also worked at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and taught at the University of Oxford.
