Dr Villa Nova is a Pharmacist with master’s degree in Sustainability on Socio-Bioeconomics, who has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of innovation, research and development of products and packaging, management of scientific networks and sustainability, having worked mainly at the company Natura Cosmetics. Over the last 15 years, she has developed an executive career in sustainability management, in the areas of strategy, bioeconomy and biodiversity, and socioeconomic impact generation, mainly for the Amazon biome. She served as leader of the Brazilian Global Compact/UN SDG Action Platform for two years. Since 2020, she has also served as co-leader of the CBCFA Bioeconomy Task Force and is a member of the Science Panel for Amazon.
