Felipe Larraín Bascuñán

Professor of Economics, Universidad Catolica de Chile; former Finance Minister of Chile

Felipe Larraín Bascuñán was Chile's Minister of Finance between 2010-2014 and 2018-2019. He is a Tenured Professor at Universidad Católica de Chile, a position he has held since 1996, and also a Member of the United Nations Leadership Council for Sustainable Development. In 2018 he founded and co-led the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action, which today has more than 50 member countries. He has been an advisor to the governments of 18 countries in the Americas, and has extensive experience as an advisor to multiple international organizations, including the IMF, World Bank, IADB, and UNDP.
