Antra Bhatt is a Statistics Specialist in the Research and Data Section of UN Women. Before joining UN Women in 2017, she worked as an assistant professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai, and as a researcher at the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization, and at the University of Chicago Urban Poverty Lab. Antra has published several pieces on gender inequality in peer-reviewed academic journals, UN reports, books, editorials and blog series. She holds a Master of Science in Public Policy and a doctoral degree in Economics.
