Leon Hermanson

Leon Hermanson has a PhD in Meteorology and has worked on understanding and predicting annual-to-decadal climate variability since 2006. He is interested in creating user-relevant information suitable for climate services based on these predictions. He leads the work on developing the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO/OMM) Lead Centre for Annual-to-Decadal Climate Prediction, which is hosted at the Met Office. He also runs and develops the in-house decadal prediction system.
