Georgios Feretzakis

Dr Georgios Feretzakis is a researcher within the AE4RIA network and an Adjunct Faculty Member and Researcher at the Hellenic Open University’s School of Science and Technology. His work focuses on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, with particular emphasis on their applications in socio-economic and environmental sustainability, healthcare and medical informatics, and privacy-preserving analytics. He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics, an M.Sc. in Biostatistics, an M.Sc. in Information Systems, and a Ph.D. in Machine Learning, and has co-authored more than 150 peer-reviewed scientific publications. He also contributes to European and national research initiatives, reflecting a sustained commitment to applied AI for climate resilience.
