Director, Innovation and Technology for Development Centre, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (itdUPM)
Carlos Mataix Aldeanueva is Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). He directs the Innovation and Technology for Development Centre (itdUPM) at the same university. He was previously Assistant Director of Student Affairs and university extension of the School of Industrial Engineers at UPM. He joined the Office of the Director at the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation in 2008, tasked with launching the Planning and Quality Unit, and since then he has worked as an expert adviser to the cooperation council.
