Policy Specialist, Sustainable Development, UN Women

Ms Carla Kraft serves as the Policy Specialist of Sustainable Development within the Economic Empowerment section of UN Women. Over the past nine years her work has focused on food systems, women’s rights to resources including energy, land and water, climate change and the climate-care nexus, gender-responsive green/blue economies, among other sustainable development themes. Prior to joining UN Women, Carla worked for the International Labour Organization in Santiago, Chile where she worked on gender equality in labour markets and social protection. She holds a Masters in International Development from New York University.
