Ana Maria is a Lead Economist with the Gender Group at the World Bank. Previously she was part of the Poverty and Equity Global Practice and co-led the Mind, Behavior and Development Unit. She has over 15 years of experience across world regions leading analytical and policy work on poverty, gender and equity. She holds graduate degrees from the London School of Economics and the University College of London.
